Vora Study – Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vora Study mobile application (the "Application") developed by Vora Study (the "Service Provider"). By downloading or using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Eligibility

The Application is intended for users aged 13 years and older. Users between 13 and 17 years of age must have parental or guardian consent to use the Application. By using the Application, you represent and warrant that you meet these age requirements.

The Application is not available to users who have been previously suspended or banned by the Service Provider.

2. Account Registration & Responsibility

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at kayasultannur1234@gmail.com.

You may not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization, or create multiple accounts to evade a suspension or ban.

3. Features & Services

The Application provides the following core features:

• AI Learning Content: Enter a topic to receive AI-generated summaries, flashcards, and quiz questions.
• PDF Analysis: Upload a PDF document for AI-powered summarization and study material generation.
• Photo Analysis: Capture or upload a photo of educational content (e.g., textbook pages, handwritten notes) for AI-powered analysis and study material generation.
• Study Rooms: Create or join collaborative study rooms to chat and share educational content with other users in real time.
• Duel (Player vs. Player): Compete against other users in live quiz battles. Results affect your leaderboard ranking and points.
• AI Duel (Player vs. AI): Compete against an AI opponent in quiz battles to test your knowledge.
• Leaderboard: View global rankings based on accumulated points from learning activities and duels.
• Background Music: Access curated focus music during study sessions.

Features may be added, modified, or removed at any time without prior notice. Some features require an active internet connection.

4. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Content

The Application includes collaborative features (Study Rooms, Duels). You agree to use these features respectfully and lawfully. The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited:

• Sexual, pornographic, or any content containing nudity.
• Profanity, insults, harassment, bullying, or hate speech of any kind.
• Content that promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activities.
• Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others (copyrighted texts, images, logos).
• Sharing personal information of other users without their consent (doxxing).
• Spam, advertising, or promotional content unrelated to studying.
• Impersonating another user, public figure, or the Service Provider.
• Uploading malicious files or attempting to disrupt the Application's functionality.
• Using the Application to conduct unauthorized data collection or scraping.

All content submitted to community features is subject to automated AI moderation. The Service Provider reserves the right to remove any content and take action against any account at its sole discretion without prior warning.

5. AI Content Disclaimer

The Application uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate educational content including summaries, flashcards, quiz questions, and analytical responses. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is for educational and informational purposes only and may not be 100% accurate, complete, or current.
• The Service Provider does not guarantee the correctness of AI-generated content.
• You should verify important or critical information through authoritative, official sources.
• Your queries (topics entered, images uploaded, PDF text extracted) are transmitted to third-party AI providers for processing.
• You must not submit sensitive personal information (passwords, financial details, government IDs, medical data) via AI features.
• The AI systems use a failover architecture (Google Gemini → OpenRouter → Groq) to ensure service availability. Your query may be processed by any of these providers.

6. Duel & AI Duel

Duel (Player vs. Player): When you participate in a Duel, you are matched with another registered user. Your display name and duel results are visible to your opponent and are recorded for leaderboard purposes. You agree to participate fairly and not use exploits, bots, or any unauthorized tools to gain an advantage.

AI Duel (Player vs. AI): The AI opponent is powered by our AI providers. Quiz questions are generated dynamically and may occasionally contain errors. AI Duel results also contribute to your overall points and ranking.

Points and rankings earned through Duels have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real-world goods or services. The Service Provider reserves the right to adjust, reset, or remove points and rankings at any time.

7. Background Music

Background music provided within the Application is licensed for personal, non-commercial in-app use only. You may not:

• Record, capture, redistribute, or republish the music outside the Application.
• Use the music for commercial purposes.
• Claim ownership of any music provided by the Application.

8. Advertising

The Application displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the Application, you consent to the display of personalized or non-personalized advertisements. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and usage data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can adjust your ad personalization preferences through your device settings.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and materials in the Application (excluding user-generated content) are the property of the Service Provider or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Application.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
• Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from the Application.

By submitting content to community features (e.g., Study Room messages), you grant the Service Provider a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and moderate that content solely for the purpose of operating the Application.

10. Suspension & Termination

The Service Provider may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Application or specific features at any time, with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines.
• Fraudulent, abusive, or harmful behavior.
• Requests from law enforcement or legal authorities.
• Extended periods of inactivity.

You may also delete your own account at any time (see our Privacy Policy – Account Deletion section).

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. AI-generated content is not guaranteed to be accurate or suitable for any specific purpose.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Application.
• Reliance on AI-generated content.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.
• Any conduct or content of third parties within the Application.

13. Changes to Terms

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, we will notify you via an in-app notification or by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Application after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through competent courts in that jurisdiction.
